Recycling and Regeneration


The recycling and regeneration process of woven bags has formed a complete set of procedures. Firstly, they need to be sorted by color, as the value of the materials increases after classification.
Next comes the water-based crushing and rinsing to remove surface stains and impurities. Then, the excess water is removed by a centrifuge, and finally, the material is dried and bagged. During the processing, a mixer is used to blend the materials evenly, and colors and additives are added as needed.
The last crucial step is granulation, where the processed raw materials are turned into plastic pellets through a dedicated plastic machine.
These recycled pellets have different uses depending on their quality. High-quality pellets can be used for reblowing, while medium-quality ones are suitable for injection molding. The core of the entire recycling process is to keep the material clean, as clean enough high-pressure film can even be reblown directly without adding new material.

 

Green Technology


In the field of recycling technology, apart from the traditional physical recycling methods, new technologies are constantly emerging. A technology patent from 2024 introduced a method for converting different materials of used woven bags into high-value products.
According to this process, waste plastic woven bags made of polyethylene and polypropylene can be converted into aromatic compounds, while those made of polystyrene can be transformed into solid resins and adhesives.
A study in 2024 addressed the technical challenges in the production of recycled PP woven bags. By adding a small amount of composite antioxidants to the degraded polypropylene recycled material, it was possible to effectively terminate the free radicals generated by residual peroxides, resulting in woven bags with excellent stability and anti-aging properties.
